The Best Travel Destinations for the Honeymoon
A wedding is not a wedding without honeymoon. But what are the best travel destinations for the honeymoon? It is not as easy a question to answer if we are immersed in the preparations for a wedding. Moreover, in these times of crisis also affects the budget we have for our honeymoon.

In my opinion, to choose the best destination for honeymoon trip will be taken into account: 1) Our taste. Perhaps we are about urbanites and we love to visit a big city. 2) Maybe we just think about a trip to relax and enjoy a few days alone with your partner or 3) We take this trip to meet somewhere that we wanted, whether of a sentimental, cultural, adventure or exotic.
Considering all this the best destination for our honeymoon could be almost anywhere in the world. Not surprisingly, today I remember some of the traditional places for honeymoon travel. And that if they are the destinations for hundreds of couples, something will have to like both newlyweds.
Islands.
Travel to the Canary Islands and the Balearic Islands is a trendy destination for hundreds of Europeans. Why are chosen for the newlyweds? Advantages: They offer a wonderful climate, pristine beaches, good food, quiet places to suit all budgets and we could find from luxury hotels with private beaches four-star hotels with special offers for newlyweds.
The large cities.
Street circuits are also chosen by many couples for their honeymoon. Perhaps one of the most interesting for the Europeans is a route through the most interesting cities in the United States: New York and Chicago or West Coast tour: San Francisco, Las Vegas and LA. For Europeans with a smaller budget, it is worth considering luxury hotels around the UK such as hotels here in London. There are many great hotels spread across London and the English countryside that are ideal for honeymoons.
Exotic Travel
If you like what are the most exotic destinations in recent years it became fashionable to travel to Cancun and the Riviera Maya (Mexico) and Cuba, as well as Thailand and Bali. Paradisiacal destinations offer a quiet and fun stay in big hotels with the highest quality standards. These destinations offering sun, sea, good food and leisure activities (skiing, adventure, hiking, etc).
Interesting Places In Venice – Italy
What to see in Venice?
Venice is not just stroll through its narrow streets, hundreds of bridges crossing over the canals, and riding a gondola … but not because it is typical, it ceases to be spectacular!

Here are some of the places not to be missed if you go to Venice:
Plaza de San Marcos
It is a huge square that was begun in the ninth century and is also the main tourist destination in Venice. It is surrounded by emblematic buildings: the Basilica San Marco, Palazzo Ducale and the bell of the basilica.
One of the key features of this square is full of pigeons, which capture most of the attention of tourists who give them food and they climb up! In the square itself there are people who sell food for pigeons, I think the price of a bag was € 1.50.
Basilica of San Marcos
This is the main Catholic church in Venice. Located just one of the heads of the Piazza San Marco and the entrance to it is free all year round. 1 October to 31 March, the hours are from 9:00 to 16:45 and from 1 April to 30 September, from 9.00 to 17.00.
At the same time you can visit the treasury of the Basilica (admission price € 2), the Pala d’Oro (admission price € 1.5) and the Museum of San Marcos (admission price € 3). All three places have the same hours as the basilica, also varying with the time of the year in which the visit.

By plane:
Venice airport is called Marco Polo, and is located about 13 km from the city. It has two terminals for their flights, but has a free bus that you move from one to another.
To get to downtown from the airport there are two options:
—> By boat: There is a taxi boat service that leaves from the pier of the airport to the Plaza San Marcos. Travel is about 40 minutes and cost about 70 €.
—> By bus: depart from outside the airport, and there are two lines connecting the airport to Piazzale Roma: the Blue Bus (about 30 minutes away and the price is 2.5 €), or Line 5 (about 50 minutes away, the price is 1 € and the ticket is purchased at the newspaper shop inside the airport).
By train:
Venice has two train stations: Mestre and Santa Lucia. Mestre is not within the insular area of the city, so if your train arrives at this station, you must use any means of transport to get to downtown (you can take you a train to go to Santa Lucia, or a bus or taxi). In addition, Santa Lucia which is located and on the islands and from there you can make all journeys on foot (or if you prefer, use the vaporetto).
Accommodation in Venice
Within the insular area, there are actually very few hostels, but we stayed in one that not only was in that area, but was also a lot in price. His name is Santa Fosca, and although there was nothing about it is fun, if what you want is an inexpensive place to sleep, is ideal.

Transportation in Rome
Many monuments are within short distances between themselves, which go from one to another, it is best done on foot. However, it is a big city, and there are distances that are convenient not to make them walk.

As much as Rome has subway (very small … with only 2 lines), the best way of moving from one place to another, in our view, is to use the buses. The bus system, in addition to night services, and many lines that cover the entire city, has the great advantage of being “FREE”!
We’re not going to recommend not to pay the ticket, but hey, we in the 4 days we were, we took several buses to go to many places of the city, and none of them pay the ticket, nor an inspector climbed. If an inspector to climb, you can always play bell and get off at the next stop!
For those wishing to pay your ticket (as it should be …), you can buy them in the “Little shrines (kiosks where they sell magazines) and the” tabacaios “(cigar). Sometimes they are sold in bars. Drivers do not sell.
The cost of the ticket is 1 € (at least it was in September 2007), like the subway, but with the difference that you have paid the departure and return, if you use the return trip in 75 minutes.
