Cinque Terre, Levanto to La Spezia

It is hard to find a more relaxed tourism in this corner of the Italian Riviera. Few museums, no scooter, no cars disturb the tranquility of this corner. It is located on the Ligurian coast between the towns of Levanto and La Spezia, and the five towns that make up are connected by a train, which runs through the steep slopes. This is a national park, highly protected, and out of mass tourism.
Unique and singular landscape of the Riviera
The Cinque Terre have been protected from the invasion of cars among other reasons because the rugged terrain. Layers of strata are spectacular near-vertical hills that stretch into the sea. It has been compared with the landscape of the Norwegian fjords, with the addition of purely Italian peoples and the human landscape.
The visitor is surprised by the nurseries in impossible places and the ingenious inhabitants to collect grapes and almost hung colored houses built on terraces carved into the rock for centuries and the Mediterranean in the background. But especially in view of the five people who appear before it slammed into small peninsula jutting into the sea. From north to south: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore. Each has its history and unique charm.
