Seven Star Hotels
![]()
The classification of hotels according to star is an internationally accepted way to evaluate hotels. But in recent years new hotels have imposed higher standards, creating a category that has been given for calling 7-star hotels. Although this category is not accepted by normal standards, in some parts of the world, as in the United Arab Emirates, have become popular.

But what makes them different to these hotels?
What determines its excellence is the number of bedrooms, size, quality of service and personal attention, the location, the activities included, if you have swimming pool.
But who regulates this classification?
Some countries have special qualifications, such as Mexico, which gives a higher rating to 5 stars.
While in some countries the traditional classification is still viable (with differences of each destination), in some places become useless and backward (especially in Arab destinations luxury). Perhaps it is time to reevaluate the standards that make this categorization.
